I am passionate about facilitating effective cross-cultural communication. Working in corporate environments in Japan and the UK has given me a deep understanding of the differences between Japanese and Western business cultures.

Born and raised in Tokyo, I have lived in the UK, Bermuda and Belgium. This has given me the opportunity to connect with people from all over the world and made me realise that empathy is the key to successful communication. Empathy allows me to understand the speaker's intentions and convey not only the message, but also its nuances. That's why I interpret with heart.
